Jody Harper
Since the 1980‘s Jody Harper has held leadership roles in marketing for Fortune 500 companies where she launched hundreds of marketing initiatives and product offerings that significantly increased company revenues. On more than one occasion, the results of her efforts brought in so much business (double or triple what was expected), it required the back-end operation to develop new processes. Riding on this success she turned to consulting in 2002, and has since sparked business breakthroughs for dozens of clients in numerous industries. She is a change agent who loves helping clients become successful in ways they previously couldn’t imagine. In addition to her extensive business experience, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and is a Certified Life Coach.

It’s part innovation. Part inspiration. And part marketing expertise — a unique combination of talent that helps you break free from the old rules and restrictions so you can succeed in new ways.
My Story
Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a vivid imagination. I started off leading neighborhood kids in creating skits to perform for our parents. Later, in Junior High, I created and led my fellow students in performing a show that we successfully took on the road to neighboring elementary schools. A friend’s father, a producer, wanted to recruit me to perform on television.
After graduating from The University of California, Los Angeles, I chose a career in marketing. I knew I had to lead in the creation of ideas so I spent decades creating and managing campaigns and new products. I never stayed in one department for very long — once I created the desired improvements or new products, I passed the baton to a capable implementer and moved on.
I worked for Fortune 500 companies like American Express, Household (HSBC), and Providian Financial (Chase). However, I was never a total fit for the corporate mold. As a creative person in an extremely logical environment, they learned to just leave me alone to “go do your magic.” Wherever I went, breakthroughs happened — sometimes huge breakthroughs that meant more revenue. I never did it alone, though. I led team members through innovation and change. We often had to bypass the normal bureaucracy and rules to test our ideas.
Despite their success, many of the ideas and changes I’ve proposed over the years met with skepticism “That won’t work.” Of course this was a challenge, but skepticism is normal because change often feels scary.
I am an entrepreneur at heart so I decided to start my own consulting business. As a consultant I worked with (Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual (Chase), Western Union, Corinthian Colleges, Bella Pictures and many others). I applied a fresh perspective, called in team members to help, and we delivered great results time after time. My dream was to live as a consultant, but for years there was something more calling me.
There is another side to me who loves to work with people one on one. So in 2008 I became a Certified Life Coach. It followed an inner calling I’ve had for a long time. In the late 1990‘s I earned a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology.
Whether you’re in business for yourself, in a work-related transition, or work in an organization, I work with you to break free from what no longer works for you so you can achieve your highest potential.
